BUSINESS GOAL
Zao Factory apparel store was an online clothes store. The founders were college students who love rock music and played in a punk band. They started up as a vender at music festivals and conventions. Later on, they expended the business as an online store. Their target customers were people ages in between 14 - 35, who loves rock music, musicians, hipsters and students. They closed the business after 2 years, once they graduated from the college, and had different careers.
LOGO
Zao means "make" in Chinese. They made their own apparels. Therefore, I designed the logo with the Chinese word 造 (zao) with specific "Chinese Culture Revolution" vintage style (it's an all time trending style in China) to attracted younger customers, artists and hipsters.
